Palliative vs. Hospice
“Palliative care” (from Latin palliare, “to cloak”) is an area of healthcare that focuses on relieving and preventing the suffering of patients. Unlike hospice care, palliative medicine is appropriate for patients in all disease stages, including those undergoing treatment for curable illnesses and those living with chronic diseases.
“Hospice” is a type of care and a philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a terminally ill patient’s symptoms. Dr. Broome (genetics) told my wife and I “Hospice has many definitions ,they will teach you how to care for him.” This was the start of the deception and lies and how hospice got their ugly little foot in our door. Later we found (in the “doctor to doctor” notes) BEFORE hospice, they stated Evan WAS terminally ill and would in fact die within the first 6 months of life. This was written so the hospice team would in fact administer the correct deadly drugs, not the correct palliative drugs or no drugs at all. They had no paperwork to back up this claim “terminally ill” so there was no legitimate reason to open hospice, the law was broken here again. Their own papers ask for a referral source “to Substantiate a Terminal Prognosis”, this was NOT done and the medical facts and clinical reports were intentionally ignored. Science was ignored.
The hospice team nurse Gretal Whisnant, Garden Grove Cal admitted Oct 31 2008 that “HOSPICE IS for the dying”, “Evan is not dying, he looks healthy” and “our prediction was wrong”. This was said after they had tortured and destroyed Evan 19 months later.(this statement was recorded A/V)
There was never any “prediction”, this was intentional and this nurse Gretel was involved with my son’s care, and testified in court documents to discredit me as being angry and dangerous, as did ALL Kaiser Employees, even several I never met. I have a good reason for being angry, what is her excuse for what she does to babies and their families?
Funny how no one at Kaiser said, “I was wrong” if she believed in true & honest care, she would be suing Kaiser for what Kaiser did to her in our hospice, but in my opinion she is just as guilty. Her job is more important than life and care of an infant and our family; she is just another robot helping to ensure she has a job no matter how Kaiser can “thrive”.
I interviewed one of the hospice nurses in 2012 and this is still true today. A hospice nurse stated that Kaiser wanted to change our Hospice to Palliative care which is “backwards” and very strange since we had a TERMINAL DX . They never changed hospice to palliative, nor gave any specialized care from the hospital, they just let it go 19 months and ended hospice, then everything went quiet till today. Both Dr. Broome and Dr. Brumley are no longer at Kaiser, but the removal of the two doctors was not for Evan, this is for Kaiser in case this blows up in their face. They came in, destroyed my son’s life and left.
The plan/crime by Kaiser was done so many times, it was just their time they messed-up. The change to palliative did not occur because “their terminal” illness would have been wrong, therefore the “care” that was given in hospice would have been in great question if switched down to palliative. Palliative is for chronic illness and you can’t “kill” in Palliative care, although with these people, you never know. Keeping Evan in Palliative care would keep us out of any specialized care in the clinics and hospitals just like hospice and Kaiser would still save money. The goal and the incentives (the money) to the doctors would continue.
Yes, they get a bonus(in the “links” tab) to save Kaiser money, the doctors are the stock holders, not the public. It was cheaper to eliminate the patient, then to care for the patient for life. It is that simple. If they do this enough, it amounts to millions and those millions will end up in their doctors pockets and more of these hospitals being built and the crime continues – science and cures mean nothing when this happens.

When we (parents) removed the drugs his condition changed from nightmare to day, we then knew that the “condition” was the drug abuse, not the condition he has, and the damage from the Drugs has masked or hidden the true nature of Evan’s disease because of drug sustained seizures and the massive overdose.
We have proven this. Justice will be served, in time.
