Hospice
According to the AMA, Half of hospice patients stay 19.7 days or less in hospice. A Long term stay is 46 days. Evan’s stay was 574 days, or 19 months, or ONE year 7 months. Soak that in, a baby, what does that mean to you?
A few of the reasons for this extremely long term is:
1. They expected Kaiser’s “manufactured death” and it did not come.
2. Kaiser did not want to spend money on Evan, so no specialized appointments were made
in the full 19 months. We tried, but had to go elsewhere.
3. They were stealing Federal monies (below)
4. He was just plain ignored since the parents removed Kaiser’s deadly cocktail of drugs, they knew the parents knew what they had intended.
They did make an effort to close hospice after 16 months, but Evan’s father told them that “a doctor created the hospice-I want a doctor to end the hospice”. They let it sit another 3 months, probably sent it to their legal department. Kaiser wanted to “send over” a document to sign, to close hospice without a doctor and just walk away, sort of like “hit and run”.
Despite the PRE-HOSPICE assessment paper that we finally viewed in 2012, we were never told that Evan was “supposed” to die from Kaiser’s hack Dr. Diane Louise Broome, if you read the MEDICAL RECORDS, the first Dr. Gurbani Neurology said he was “NORMAL”, don’t go to Metabolics” – the second Dr. Mardach Metabolics, said “1 to 100 we just don’t know, he is far too young, you may have “Behavioral problems”. Then Dr. Broome genetics lied about hospice and their role in our lives and their intent. Before hospice Evan had an MRI & CT scan (2 diff. hospitals, both showed nothing markable)
When Hospice finally came, that is when we heard from Dr.Brumley “Well, these kids typically die within 2 to 3 months”. Dr. Brumley knows nothing when it came to metabolic conditions, he was just assigned Evan as a Terminal patient, but the parents had a DOCTOR in their home telling them their son was about to die for the first time while this was a decision by Broome and Mehren behind the scenes and with Evan’s parents being the LAST to know. Dr. Brumley is a geriatric doctor and Kaiser does not have a pediatric hospice team and only 2 Metabolic doctors in California!, for 14 million members not counting Medicaid, yet they advertise as if they are on the leading edge of care, Kaiser is on a leading edge, but it happens to be a cliff.
If you were to count all the Metabolic specialists up & down the coast of California at every children’s hospital or University there is often 4 per, with all the per-capita Kaiser has, you would think they would have one per county, not 2 in the entire state. Metabolic Physicians are fairly Brilliant even w/o all the education, and they cost a lot and this is why Kaiser has only 2 and they can’t keep them.
Should not Dr Brumley (hospice) know what these combination of drugs could do to an infant ?
If he doesn’t, he should not be in medicine, therefore he is just as guilty.

Please note, before, during and after hospice there was no pain, yet pain medication was being used in form of Morphine. ALL of the hospice records are indicated as NO PAIN (0/10) 91 times, the quote from all Professors I interviewed….”What was the Morphine for?”

This record is disgusting. They are saying how Morphine works differently with different patients (which is total bullshit) Yet there was no doctor around, no oxygen, no lifesaving measures as stated on their own Morphine prescription, and as of today there is no recommended dosage for Infants. As we found later, “rectal administration of morphine into an infant is erratic and unpredictable” Prof. Charles Cote who I spoke with several times after the OD. Dr. Cote states that administered in this manner a dose “may not absorb”, so what can happen is the next scheduled dose could be twice as much which leads to an overdose. Aside from the other explanation from my court expert Dr. Richard Ruffallo (from the Michael Jackson case) Evan was on Morphine for so long he had “drug accumulation”, his metabolism was compromised and it was only a matter of time this happened. Kaiser had zero idea, and all the regular players were not around.

Hospice 1/24/08 A must read
I never met Nurse Elena, but by this time Evan was “One of a Kind” He survived Kaiser hospice and we were the “talk” in hospice, and BTW Dr. Richard Dee Brumley was in charge of this entire program with his 90+ patients at the time. Nurse Casella stated in testimony that Evan was the first patient to survive Kaiser hospice. Nurse Elena (above) is saying Evan had an OD of Morphine and was taken to an Emergency Room, but Evan was weaned by us and all symptoms had stopped dead, no seizures six months Prior, and he would be off ALL meds for the next DECADE ! Hospice is still open b/c of stealing Federal Medicare money.
Here is what actually happened 1/24/08
We were in a clinic because Evan had another bacterial illness from his rotting teeth. Kaiser would give antibiotics, they would run-out and he would be sick again. This went on for a long time and the more we screamed about his teeth, the more we were ignored. We finally begged CHOC to see us and Dr. Raymond Wang at CHOC rushed us to see Dr. Richard Mungo a pediatric oral surgeon. Mungo cared for Evan’s teeth for the next decade with several surgeries. This is in the Dental tab. Below we are at a Kaiser clinic for Evan’s so-called Morphine overdose and ER visit:
As you can see, we are at a clinic. There is no ER, no morphine, and why we would we use it if it caused so many issues before and after the weaning 6 months prior. Kaiser’s hospice headquarters is full of “gossip” and we were two parents who took control of their ineptness by removing the drugs-saving Evan’s life. We were in a clinic with the only doctor we could trust, Dr. Louise Gordon pediatrics. She spoke to us after the overdose and told us to never bring Evan into a Kaiser hospital, “he won’t make it out” she said, Dr. Gordon knew what was happening, she has seen this before, we were also told to keep her words to ourselves and we have until now, but Dr. Gordon is retired.
So we have a nurse at hospice central claiming Evan’s parents have given him Morphine and he OD’ed. I have no idea WHY this was written, all I can think this is a Kaiser Nazi who is trying to ineffectively make us look as bad parents. BTW the courts had nothing to say about this, it was ignored. We had the only patient that survived Brumley “eliminating potentially expensive patients”
Hospice 10/31/08
No communication between Kaiser doctors and us, this never happened, we tried, but no one was talking because Evan was alive and Kaiser is not familiar with this situation, my son did not give his life so Kaiser “partners” could increase their bonuses<and that IS the truth covered in this site. You can read another INCREDIBLE story “Nurse Casella” (above record) who befriended us up until 2018, then betrayed us – she was “planted” into our lives, then lied under oath.
Back in the “Drugs” tab you read a clinical report dated back in 1993 that “Phenobarbital has no benefit”. Then they added Ativan and Morphine to Evan’s cocktail of drugs, he stopped eating and stopped filling diapers rapidly. Morphine was for pain, where was the pain? Out of the Records, there was a place for pain (1/10) 91 times, and 91 times no pain was recorded. Seizures are not painful, you have no idea you are having them, you are unconscious. Then when you awake, you are exhausted. Morphine does cause seizures in seizure disorders, but with two other drugs, well, there are NO clinical trials with these three drugs anywhere. And to add to this crime, but drugs CAN start them and sustain them.
Here we have a taste of the hospice records – many are recovered in 2012, from 2007 (5 years later), the ones the parents were not supposed to see – ever.

Evan’s Hospice Discharge: – 19 months later and the Medicare money has expired (note) I had signed a “Kaiser Benefit Only” contract the day hospice began, but behind our backs they took Medicare money, and this is why they called us on the 16th month…I said “cancel hospice”, but Kaiser found 3 more months so they took it. 90 days later they were at our door closing hospice-on Halloween day.

This is the discharge of Evan out of hospice, one year & 7 months of completely unnecessary and destructive care that went wrong for Kaiser and of course Evan and his family. Even to the last day they talk about how the family needs help and answers. Not anyone, till even this 19th month explained the condition & it’s variabilities. I had to learn on my own. I would bet, they knew nothing and didn’t care to. Remember, these are doctor to doctor communications (never meant to be seen) Dr Monica Mehren is stating, “The family has had visits from social worker and chaplin” this is not the case, and this is proven in the hospice records, “we fired them”early on. This “doctor” Mehren has been behind the scenes all 19 months and even before, with Dr Broome. In this email, Dr. Brumley is asking 4 other doctors (Broome, Gurbani, Gordon and Mehren) if they should “BOTHER” with labs on Evan and he is showing US that there are NO lab reports for the entire family. These would never be entered because of the lies that were produced to kill Evan. Does this sound professional ?
NO LABS ? for a dying baby ? IS this a little strange ? The doctor cannot read any labs because they are washed away, just like the proper doctor (Mardach) in metabolics was excluded in any care. Should not the Metabolic doctor be included, it is a metabolic disease.
About labs; In the short stay at an outside ER (not Kaiser) during the first seen seizure after surgery and of course before the overdose, there were page after page of “labs”, yet Kaiser has none after over two weeks in Kaiser’s hospitals and no blood tests during hospice ? that is quite strange to a reasonable person.
Why is there 6 doctors in this email? Dr Mehren has started this email to Brumley, it seems, but Brumley decides to send it out to ALL the treating doctors involved, WHY?. He knows at this point that I KNOW, we discussed this privately. By sending this email out to all, he is trying to take the responsibility away from himself – showing them that there is no labs and the family needs help, yet he never expected ME to have this email in my possession, e.g. States “worth the bother” the “group dynamic” at Kaiser. To me, this is a huge document, very telling of many things and confirms many of my theory.
We also have a doctor (Brumley) who was just making life altering decisions for a baby & family for 19 months, and he has no access to labs, and he has “just the word” of several “specialists he can’t tell us” that won’t communicate with him or the parents. What do you call this?, Malpractice or Intentional, you surely can’t call it healthcare. Then again, you or me were never meant to see this email.
So you see, as you already have seen through Kaiser’s own records and this one, they are lying and you will see more in the next few chapters.
They intended to kill Evan and all this “hiding of facts and lack of proper care” would disappear once Evan is dead. No one would look for them. The labs would also show the incredible amount and variety of drugs in Evan’s infant body because they know, “you don’t use or mix these powerful drugs unless you intend to kill your patient”.
Brumley’s comment… “is it worth the bother?”
IS it worth the bother? Is this a statement meant to be heard ?, to the parents ? Would this Dr Brumley say this in front of the parents, his parents? No, it is the mentality of Kaiser’s doctors and their Ethics. He knows what has transpired and he knows what Kaiser intended for Evan, yet these 5 words are showing you and me what they really think and how little they really care.
The disclaimer at the bottom shows that these emails should never be seen, but here it is, the heart of Kaiser care.
Then he states how “the parents don’t want to attempt any children” (because we were told we could repeat the D2HGA) which was NOT true, (as found by the family in 2012, see this in the “CRIME” tab ). Now this “lost or never entered” labs, happen again in the Crime tab, but the next lie is a direct felony.
That concern for the daughter(her possibility of having the bad gene) was always a pain for the family, but what Broome told us was never the truth, another lie we had to live with for 5 years until we “stumbled” over these records.
Did the doctors do anything after hospice ended? Not even a word, EVER ! Even at the request of another doctor here in this document. You have a total of 6 doctors knowing the family needs help, and nothing was done.
Counting the lies was adding up for me, one after the next and I am very happy to show you this proof, after all, “they” are showing you, not me.
All those TV spots that Kaiser has…. “We have a team for your baby” “we are at the top of research” “thrive” it means nothing to anybody, it is just advertising/theater. With this one document they show who & what they are. They do; steal lives, ruin families, kill babies, lie to caring & grieving parents, destroy the science and not a care in the world about what they create outside their walls. Kaiser also builds-in a protection with the media because of all their incredible amounts of money on false advertising.
They do buy political & legal favor with the money they trade for life, and as you will see when done reading this story, there are plenty of taker$, state and federal filth looking to forward their career while stepping on the backs of babies.
Did we work up to this “type” of society ? Did our fathers and grandfathers die for this to become “the way things work?”
