TRANSLATION:
Evan is having seizure activity today – he is on Morphine & Ativan. Mother states Phenobarbital has too many side effects.
Mother and Grandmother are very tearful – aware there isn’t much they can do.
Spoke to father, he is very sad, he had spoken to Dr. Gurbani (neurology) who thinks Evan has very little time left. Father verbalized acute grief & extremely concerned about his wife & daughter.
Social worker encouraged preparing daughter for Evan’s death.
Father and grandmother receptive to anticipation guidance, mother less so, but appears realistic.

Yes we are suffering like there is no tomorrow; it can’t be more painful to watch what is happening here. Kaiser’s Dr. Gurbani in neurology … he was wrong and he knew what they were doing. He knew what we were suffering through but this was “Kaiser’s way”. Now for someone to come into your home and tell you how your own daughter should confront her brothers murder is pretty sick in itself. This happened day after day.
They held us at gun point with the drugs and stated that the disease is causing the symptoms. This was never the truth, and this has been proven.
How would we know what the drugs or the disease was doing ? Our trust was with the staff. We thought they had done this before, maybe they had and the end result was death.
