Dr. William Leo Nyhan
Never have I met and known a better human being in my lifetime. A man so dedicated to science and his patients till today, and in his 90’s.
First-off, W.L. Nyhan has just a brilliant mind, a genius. His medical life began in WW2 at 17, a medic in infantry(front lines).
This doctor, world renown Professor has and knows just about everything in his long career.
“Bill” as other Metabolic and Mitochondrial physicians call him, they treat him like the wise Grandfather of medicine.
I only wish the medical courts treated him as he should’ve been treated, but they treat most as if they are lower.
Nyhan does not (or need) to do any court testimony, but when he realized what kaiser had done to not just Evan, but to his and those of who he trained throughout the world, the medical science, he stepped-up and helped us.
He served in WW2 and Korea.William Leo Nyhan (born March 13, 1926) is an American physician best known as the co-discoverer of Lesch/Nyhan syndrome & Sakati/Nyhan
Nyhan currently serves as professor of pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine in La Jolla, California. He has held positions at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Harvard, and the University of Miami Leonard M Miller School of Medicine and has served on a number of advisory committees, pediatric advisory boards, and research foundation boards. He has awards only given to a very few doctors/scientists worldwide. If you are interested in an interview of this historic doctor, go to : www.aap.org/en-us/about-the-aap/Pediatric-History-Center/Documents/Nyhan.pdf
Nyhan’s areas of research span a variety of amino acid metabolism disorders, among them 4-hydroxybutyric acuduria, 3-methyglutaconyl-Co A hydrates deficiency, multiple carboxylase deficiency, methylmalonic academia, and propionic academia. He has studied the neuropathology of propionic acidemia including the manifestation of basil ganglia infarction and its neurologic, non-metabolic presentation. Currently, he conducts research into the causes of progressive neurologic disability caused by methylmalonic acidemia following liver transplantation.
Needless to say, most of us have never heard of Any of these conditions, you could say Nyhan and those he’s trained look at disease pathways at a microscopic level, then search for cures and treatments – without these brilliant scientists we would be a quite different society. Their discoveries often lead into other common conditions, for example: When Agios labs heard about Evan, they too wanted to use his blood since a very common brain cancer tumor seems to excrete HGA, but Evan had enough in his life.
This is how Kaiser’s brutality has affected medical science directly in this case alone, aside from destroying the source Lab’s science on D2 HGA.
Nyhan is involved in the ongoing development of Tandem Mass Spectrometry for use in newborn screening and research. In addition, he is investigating the use of dichloroacetate to treat a broad range of Mitochondrial diseases that lead to lactic academia. He has over 700 books and well over 200 abstracts including a huge world wide book “Atlas of Metabolic Disease”. He also helped me find Kaiser’s Crimes which lead to Dr. Louise Broome’s Perjury, HIPAA breeches, and a host of crimes not recognized by the “fixed” and shameful court proceedings in the crime chapter.
We spent a lot of time doing research with Evan’s blood and urine, only to be cut short because of Kaiser’s inept treatment of Evan in Dr. Richard Dee Brumley’s deadly hospice. We did manage to lower Evan’s already low HGA (in his blood and urine) by 65% !
After Nyhan had read Kaiser’s records in 2012 the first thing he said to me was: “There is no diagnosis !” this is already 5 years after Evan was born, and he was correct. This soon spawned this case into a huge cover-up by Kaiser, and huge crimes to go along with the cover-up. Kaiser claims to be “on top” of research, but if you’ve gone this far into this story, you can see Kaiser is consumed by theater in advertising, something a logical person calls lies.
Through Nyhan I met Bruce Barshop, Nyhan’s protégé and his brilliant students, and his gifted colleague also became an expert for our case, Dr. Richard Haas. These talents are the silent geniuses of medicine only because our society is driven toward “other” types of heroes, they really deserve acknowledgement for what they do – they are very few.
Now that I’ve kissed his ass (he is my hero)
Here are some court testimony from Dr. Nyhan, one of the finest (if not THE finest) in this field of study on the planet, you just don’t hear things like this in a courtroom-unless it’s a murder case:
